Most won't notice, I guess. And you can take that any way you want to. http://www.wehlou.com/books/journals/index.htmForum RSS FeedsWed, 21 Apr 2004 23:58:14 +0200I've added RSS Feeds to both my fora. These allow you to instantly see new posts in any public forum, including both subject and full body text. Things are only getting cooler.http://www.wehlou.com/rss.htmPerformance Counters in Delphi, sample project and articleSat, 8 May 2004 15:19:40 +0200Implementing performance monitors in your app is very helpful for profiling, debugging and general satisfaction of the more qualified endusers. It's also a non-trivial excercise, to put it mildly. Microsoft have done their part in making it obscure and hard to use, so naturally, we can't leave it alone, can we? This particular implementation only implements raw and delta counters, but that covers almost anything you'll ever need. The basis is there for other types of counters, though, such as instance based counters and high-precision. Both precompiled and full project source is available.http://www.wehlou.com/Code/perfmon/index.htmNew RFE - many more editing commandsTue, 11 May 2004 19:57:29 +0200<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=unicode"> <META content="MSHTML 6.00.2800.1400" name=GENERATOR></HEAD> <BODY> <P>The new RSS Feed Editor has Wysiwyg editing using DHTML.</P> <UL> <LI><STRONG>Bold</STRONG>, <U>underline</U>, <EM>italics</EM> <LI>Edit in Wysiwyg or raw HTML or both <LI><A href="http://www.wehlou.com">Link </A>assist</LI></UL> <P>I think you'll love it.</P></BODY></HTML> http://www.wehlou.com/Code/rfe/index.htmSample of what RFE can doWed, 12 May 2004 15:23:11 +0200<HTML><HEAD> <META http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=unicode"> <META content="MSHTML 6.00.2800.1400" name=GENERATOR></HEAD> <BODY> <P>With the new RFE, you can use the following in RSS descriptions:</P> <UL> <LI>bulleted lists <LI><STRONG>bold</STRONG>, <EM>italic</EM> and <U>underline</U> <LI>tables <LI>you can also do the following with lists: <UL> <LI>subindents <LI>numbered lists: <OL> <LI>either indented like this <LI>or the old regular way</LI></OL> </LI></UL> <LI>whatever the wysiwyg editor doesn't do, you can just as easily do manually in the lower pane in raw HTML editing mode <LI>you can do a lot, actually</LI></UL> <P>You can use tables, with or without borders:</P> <P> <TABLE border=1> <CAPTION><U><EM><STRONG>My Pricelist</STRONG></EM></U></CAPTION> <TR> <TD><STRONG>RFE basic edition</STRONG></TD> <TD>Many editing commands</TD> <TD> <P align=right>Free</P></TD></TR> <TR> <TD><STRONG>RFE <EM>less </EM>basic edition</STRONG></TD> <TD>More commands and views that I haven't though of yet</TD> <TD> <P align=right><U>No</U> cost</P></TD></TR> <TR> <TD><STRONG>RFE enterprise</STRONG></TD> <TD>Uses the same commands to publicize your enterpise activities</TD> <TD> <P align=right>Basically nothing yet</P></TD></TR></TABLE> </P> <P>Possibly, while writing along like this, you can also indent text for quotes:</P> <BLOCKQUOTE dir=ltr style="MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px"> <P>The amazing thing, he said, was how you could use <A href="http://www.wehlou.com/Code/rfe">RFE</A> to more or less replace your entire web-site.
